Tutor Engine began as a small circle of examiners and university teachers who were tired of ad-hoc tuition. Today we run a vetted tutor network with a single standard of teaching, whether the lesson happens at your door step or on a screen.
Our story
We started with eleven tutors and a simple rule: no tutor teaches a subject they have not proven they can teach. That rule survived our growth. Every applicant still sits a written subject test, delivers a recorded demo lesson to our academic panel, and passes identity and qualification checks before they meet a student.
The second rule is that families should never guess how a child is doing. Baseline assessments, weekly homework tracking and monthly written reports mean parents see the trend long before the board results arrive.
